As part of this effort, Haptikos is developing a tool to enhance natural hand interactions within XR environments, making digital interactions more intuitive and immersive. Through CORTEX², Haptikos is integrating its high-precision motion tracking and haptic exoskeleton technology with gesture recognition algorithms, enabling more fluid, responsive, and natural interactions in virtual spaces. The Magos Gestures Library (MGL) project will introduce: A robust gesture recognition module capable of detecting at least 15 personalized gestures. A dynamic gesture library that allows users to customize, define, and expand gestures based on application-specific needs. User-friendly development tools that make it possible for both technical and non-technical users to create, modify, and implement gestures effortlessly. Validation and real-world demonstration, proving the effectiveness of gesture-based XR interactions in industrial and training applications. By joining CORTEX², Haptikos is pioneering the future of XR interaction, enabling more natural and immersive digital experiences across industries such as education, healthcare, aerospace, and robotics.

Haptikos Sponsors MIT Reality Hack 2025

←BACK 20.02.25 / Press Haptikos Sponsors MIT Reality Hack 2025 Haptikos is proud to have been a sponsor of MIT Reality Hack 2025, supporting one of the world’s most influential XR hackathons. This event brought together innovators, developers, designers, and creators from around the globe to push the boundaries of immersive technology. At Haptikos, we believe in empowering the next generation of XR pioneers, and MIT Reality Hack was the perfect opportunity to support groundbreaking ideas. Our Haptikos exoskeletons were available for participants to use, enabling them to create next-level haptic experiences that merge the digital and physical worlds. We were thrilled to see participants exploring new ways to integrate haptics into training, medical simulations, and beyond. The energy, creativity, and collaboration at the hackathon reinforced our belief that the future of XR is tactile, and we’re excited to be a part of shaping it. Stay tuned for more updates on how Haptikos is fueling innovation in the XR community! For more details on the event, visit: MIT Reality Hack
